Showcasing Ninja Tune's latest stable of artists with a strong look and feel

Counter Records is pioneering electronic label Ninja Tune's latest sub-label, one which was created to release music that they loved but they felt didn't fit into the usual landscape of Ninja releases. It focuses on music that is more rock in style than electronic or based on break beats and samples.
We were asked to produce a distinctive one-page site for the label, that just highlighted the latest goings-on at the label from all their bands. It was built on top of their own CMS so unusually for us this was a project entirely focused on the site's look.
Taking inspiration from the label's logo, we created a site with a strong Constructivist-influence. Elements tumbling down the page make for something that feels special and different from most record label sites whilst still communicating its core message.
